Ikony

Icons are the visual Word of God. They are religious images - a portal between heaven and earth. Written on a wooden board covered in gesso using egg tempera, natural pigments, minerals and gold. When writing Icons, I am guided by following specific canons in an atmosphere of prayer, contemplation and meditation.

I am a student of the Prosopon School of Iconography- Iconology, writing in the 13th century Byzantine style.
